Hi guys, my name is Maarten. Since my teenage years, languages have been my great passion and I’ve learned languages like Spanish, Italian and Turkish myself. In the meantime, I discovered that I also absolutely love TEACHING languages and made it my career.

I’ve been a university lecturer for more than 10 years and have helped THOUSANDS of students in their journey. I found that I developed a talent for making the material so easy to understand that it really resonated with the students and made the lessons so much more fun and engaging.

Sure! My course is perfectly suited for people with a busy schedule. You can learn 100% at your own pace, as fast or as slowly as you like.

Each lesson starts with a text – mostly a dialog. You will listen to it first, read by professional speakers. Then, I will guide you through the text, explaining all new concepts in an easy-to-understand way. This will provide you with a clear understanding of what is being said.

This will then be followed by several more video lectures where we will analyze all new grammar and vocab topics much deeper with lots of real-life examples. You will then have a much clearer understanding of how to actually use the new concepts.

At the end of each lesson, it will be time to test your knowledge: you will get lots of interactive exercises in various formats to see your progress and activate the new phrases and forms even more.

Click here for a detailed list of our course structure.

This course contains 24 lessons with over 240 video lectures, exercises at the end of each section, real life examples, tips and tricks, traps to avoid and pronunciation tips. You will also have access to PDF sheets of all lesson material presented throughout the course.

Absolutely, this course contains everything you need to know for the A1 exam.
